PRESIDENT MESSAGE
Dear Hunter’s Creek Families & Friends,
I hope you all have enjoyed an exciting Fall season! Our youngest players and neighborhood teams have had an excellent run in our Fall Rec program. The boys & girls in our Premier teams have enjoyed some exciting successes in tournament play and state competitions. And I am extra proud of our new TOP Soccer program that serves children with special needs in our community. It is a wonderful opportunity to include children that might not otherwise have an opportunity to play, while also providing a chance for our players to volunteer in assisting the program.
Ten players and numerous volunteers joined our pilot program this Fall with resounding success. I especially want to thank Coaches Mickey & Marcio for their coordination of the program. Special thanks goes to Jodie Tintle for not only identifying the opportunity, but playing a major role to help us successfully bring the idea to life. We look forward to continuing the program in the Spring and for years to come.
I’m also pleased to share that Coach Raul will host a College Night at 7:00pm on November 18th at the Osprey Park recreation building. He will share his experiences helping high school players navigate the college soccer recruiting process and what players can do to help themselves stand out.
And special thanks to our sponsors for helping us adding these great opportunities to give back to the club and the kids in our community.
Lastly, I want to make sure EVERYONE is aware of our efforts to petition the Orange County Commissioners to pave the 1-mile road leading to Deputy Brandon Coates Park.
As you know, we’ve been working with the county on trying to get the road scraped more often as well as making a case to extend the timing of the traffic light. While we’ve made some progress on the traffic light, the road has reached frustrating levels of disrepair. Below is a link to sign a petition of Orange County voters that we can present to the County board to ask them to pave the road. Please share the link with anyone living in Orange County that uses the park. Our goal is to reach 3,000 signatures by this Spring so we can present a strong case.

Many parents requested a Winter Recreation program for kids U5-U8 since the break from Fall to Spring is so long. We’re excited that this is the year parents can keep them active during the Winter months. For Rec U9-U12 players, we will have a special technical session to bridge the gap from Fall to Spring. Stay tuned for more information coming via email.
Lastly for our Premier players, practices will continue through mid December and pick back up shortly after the new year. Stay tuned for information about our holiday camps and a new Indoor Soccer program. It is a great opportunity to work with the coaches during the offseason to keep skills fresh for the coming Spring.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR MESSAGE
The weather is finally starting to cool down and we are in nearly perfect weather for playing outside. But as it cools even more going into January and February, it will be extra important for our young players to properly warm up their muscles before starting a more strenuous practice or game. If you can, please always try to arrive early so that you can start to loosen up with the ball, jog around, and get your body ready to play. A properly warmed up body will perform better and help reduce the risk of injury.
As a reminder, I want to reinforce to parents and family that the best way to support your player is to cheer for them, but let the coaches give them direction. Many times the coaches might be trying to execute a specific plan that they’ve worked on in practices, but if the players hear their parents yelling “KICK IT” or “SHOOT IT” or “GO GET THEM”, then it could confuse the players and work against what the coach is trying to accomplish. We know that everyone only wants to see the kids succeed, but the best way to do that is to trust in the coach giving the direction while the parents and families stay positive with their cheering.

HCSC Performance Spotlight
- 2011 Boys Team 1 (Coach Alejandro) won their bracket at Tampa Tournament
- 2002 Boys Team 1 (Coach Raul) advanced to the Round of 16 at FL State Cup, the first time ever for the club!
- 2008 Boys Team 1 (Coach Mickey) qualified for Disney Showcase, one of the top 5 Youth soccer tournaments in the US
- Isiaih Vicentti (Boys 2008) made the 1st cut to join the Olympic Development Program player pool. Good luck in the next round!
- Eduardo Giusti (Boys 2005) made Freedom’s Varsity Soccer team as a freshman
- Nicole Arana (Girls 2005) made Cypress Creek Varsity Soccer team as a freshman
- Isabelle Perez (GIrls 2005) made Freedom Varsity Soccer team as a freshman
HCSC introduces TOP Soccer
We proudly introduced a new program to serve children with special needs in our community. The program allows us to include children that might not otherwise have an opportunity to play, while also providing a chance for our players to volunteer in assisting the program. The program was sparked by parent Jodie Tintle for not only identifying the opportunity, but also helping the club successfully bring the idea to life. Coaches Mickey & Marcio have been tremendous in coordinating fun activities for the program. We look forward to continuing the program in the Spring and for years to come.
Winter U5-U8 Recreational Soccer Program
Thanks to wonderful feedback from our Rec parents, we are excited to offer a Winter program this year! The program will begin on Nov 18 and end on Feb 8 with breaks during holidays. Players will practice twice per week with games on Saturday.

If you’re interested in volunteering for the club, we will have several opportunities to do so. College Scholarships for High School Seniors
HCSC plays in the Greater Central Florida Youth Soccer League or GCF.
