• SPRING RECREATIONAL SOCCER PROGRAM

The Hunter’s Creek SC Recreational program is for young players who aspire to achieve excellence in their game. Our emphasis is player-centric with development the top priority, as well as, of course, FUN!

We focus on the technical, tactical, physical and psychological development of players on a pathway towards maximizing their full potential.

The HCSC coaching staff will be coaches of positive significance in our players lives. Our coaches will inspire and motivate our players in an atmosphere of respect and honesty versus fear and intimidation and players will be encouraged to think for themselves. Success is achieved through building good habits and having players be accountable for their own development.

    RAIN-OUTS, CANCELLATIONS AND MAKE-UPS:

Where possible, the Club will endeavor to put on make-up practices and games for any practices or games that are rained-out or cancelled due to poor field conditions. However, one thing the Club cannot control is the weather, and cannot guarantee that every practice and game that gets rained-out or cancelled due to poor field conditions will get rescheduled.

    TEAM ASSIGNMENTS:

All things being equal, at the U5 to U8 age groups players will be placed into teams on a random basis, with an attempt to have an equal balance across all teams in terms of gender, experience and ability levels (for example, the Club would like to avoid creating one team of a single gender who are highly skilled and experienced and another team of complete beginners, as the resulting games between them will be uncompetitive and unenjoyable for the players). Factors that will affect team placement will be the preference of training day and time, as well as any requests for two players to play together. At the U9 to U12 age groups, there will be some consistency of team assignment from previous years, although the same factors as the younger ages (desire to make teams as even as possible, requested practice times/days) will also be taken into account.

    MEET AND GREET/REGISTRATION NIGHT

We will have two separate walk-in registrations on January 27th and February 17th. The Meet and Greet night will take place on March 3rd at Hunter's Creek Middle School. More information will be released about these events soon.
